Author’s biography: Diane Marie Brown is a writer who lives in Southern California. A professor at Orange Coast College and a Public Health Professional for the Long Beach Health Department, she grew up in Stockton, California, then later moved to Los Angeles to attend UCLA. After many years working in public health and disaster preparedness, she earned a degree in fiction at USC’s Master of Professional Writing Program. She lives in Long Beach, California with her husband, their four daughters, and dog Brownie. Her debut novel, Black Candle Women, will be out March 7, 2023.
