Author’s biography: Tova Friedman is eighty-four years old and lives in New Jersey, USA. She is one of the youngest survivors of Auschwitz and uses her vivid memories to write and speak against anti-Semitism and prejudice. She was the director of a nonprofit social service agency for twenty-five years and continues to work as a therapist. Malcolm Brabant is a veteran, award-winning veteran foreign correspondent. Brabant has reported from over 80 countries. He has co-authored ‘The Daughter of Auschwitz,” with Tova Friedman, one of the youngest survivors of the death camp. Currently he is working as a special correspondent in Europe for America’s PBS Newshour programme. He is also the director of ‘Malcolm is a Little Unwell,’ a feature length film documentary. Previously he worked for 25 years as a BBC foreign correspondent. He is best known in Britain for his radio reportage from Sarajevo, and in the US for his films about refugees. Brabant is married to Trine Villemann, a best selling Danish author and journalist. They met in Sarajevo in 1995. Their son Lukas is a budding music producer. They live in Brighton England.
